Folks often ask me to share my story of being a survivor.
I have to stop and think...a survivor of what? cancer, motherhood, relationships, life?
Fist Full of Hope started, as so many things do, as a happy accident. I was making tiny little monkey's fists for Maine Cottage Minis to display in their tiny seaside dollhouses. Upon wishing them success, I enclosed a note about a tiny little bead of hope wrapped inside each one. Then, just a few weeks later on a return flight from a breast cancer conference, a friend was looking for an alternative to the pink ribbon. I offered to make the monkey's fist in to cord bracelets with the understanding that they had to be about something more deserving than cancer: they needed to be about hope, no matter the journey.
A simple craft evolved in to creating a timeless statement piece in fine sterling silver, the culmination of patience, practice, and pleasure. Each Fist Full of Hope carries this simple message: Hope. It's what's inside. Anne
